Dairy farming the Amish way

Dairy farms all over the globe share fundamental aspects that make the farm work. Making money from dairy cattle works the same way, no matter where you are in the world. Important aspects include: keep your cows healthy and treat them before they get sick, achieve an above-average milk price and control your costs and financing. There are of course different ways of approaching the running of a farm – in this edition we take a look at how Amish dairy farmers deal with some challenges and how they approach certain aspects of dairy farming.
