Connecterra teams up with Lely on data sharing

Connecterra has signed a data-sharing agreement with Lely. Unlocking data from Lely’s T4C (Time for Cows) into Connecterra’s IDA platform will push for a more connected dairy industry that supports farmers in their decision-making. With the agreement, both companies will explore how to increase the value and application of the available data on the farm by sharing the information from T4C with the IDA-platform. The agreement will become applicable to Lely clients in Europe. As the farmer remains owner of the data, the data between T4C and IDA (single way) will only be shared once the farmer allows the integration to become active in T4C.

Delta Green stimulates ingestion

Deltavit is launching a ‘green’ and multifunctional alternative to monopropylene glycol, dedicated to ruminants in situations of energy deficiency. Delta Green is a functional product that stimulates rumen activity and provides energy for cows, sheep and goats. Its properties enable the optimisation of the animals’ ingestion capacity, which is limited and does not cover all their energy needs during certain phases such as the beginning of lactation, the heat stress, the reproduction, the start of fattening. The new nutritional supplement consists of a combination of liquid sugars with different ruminal degradation kinetics.
